SeaO2 Ecological Housing Project
Over the years, architects feel that designing a building is getting increasingly difficult. One of the reasons is because of global warming. Buildings leave a huge eco-footprint because not many buildings use the natural sunlight, wind or land for providing energy. Instead, they use electricity for heating and lighting. This new cutting edge computer software will help make the buildings more energy efficient such as maximizing solar power, wind currents and space allocation. For example, an experimental housing project, SeaO2, is using this new cutting edge technology to make the most of the natural resources, leaving the least amount of ecological carbon footprint on the environment. The outcome of this experimental housing project is that it will be able to create heating in the wintertime from solar reception, be able to generate electricity from solar reception, retrieve fresh air to the building, and to use many more of the natural resources.

The impact it has on the workflow is that it makes it easier for architects because they don’t have to worry about the eco-footprint that the building would leave on the environment and the amount of space the building will take up. This software has already been used in aerospace industry and is now being used for buildings to make it more sustainable. 

2. Retrieve

Solar panels
An invention that this new cutting edge software retrieves from the past is the solar panels. Solar panels use the natural light to convert it into electricity. The energy that the solar panels usually get their energy from to change it into electricity is the sun. The sun gives off a lot of light and heat. This new software not only uses the solar reception to transmit the energy from the sun into electricity but also into heat and cool air. This way we don’t have to use the air conditioning or heater over the changing seasons.

The way it affects the career is that the architects would have to find a good location for the building so it is able to receive the maximum amount of light from the sun. The architects would also have to design a place of where the solar reception object would be placed. The new software would help the architects not worry about what affects it has on the environment because it helps to release the least amount of carbon dioxide possible. 

3. Obsolesces

Heater
What this new computer software obsolesces from past technologies are air conditioning and heaters. Air conditions are used in the summer to replace the warm summer heat with the cool breeze into the homes. This computer software uses the wind currents in the summer to produce the cool breeze in the summer. Instead of using so much energy and releasing a lot of carbon dioxide, it uses the energy from the solar reception. Heaters are used in the winter to keep the inside of the houses warm from the frigid winter air. Heaters use a lot of energy to keep homes warm. It also releases loads of carbon dioxide into the air, similar to air conditioners. This new software enables the warm heat in the wintertime the same way it enables cool air in the summertime, which is by the solar reception.

By using the new cutting edge technology, it delivers a positive change to the both the environment and the architects who are designing the building. First off, the architects won’t have to worry about how big of an ecological carbon footprint that the building contribute because the new software will help reduce the release of carbon dioxide to its minimum amount. Secondly, the architects also won’t have to worry about where to put the air conditioner or heater in the building because the new software uses the natural resources given to them at the specific location.

Too expensive



This new technology is very desirable concerning the global warming crisis and how it helps reduce carbon dioxide emissions. But since this is new computer software, it is very expensive to buy. Especially since the economy isn’t financially strong, very few companies are willing to invest into this new software. Companies that purchase too much will result in bankruptcy.
